We believe in creating a place for everyone to feel like they are part of the family.
Meet Chris
Jessica: “Chris, what do you want to do when you retire?”
Chris: “I don’t know. Maybe open a comic shop.”
And just like that Crooked Dog Comics was born. Chris loves Rush, playing the drums, talking to people about comics, and a night in playing video games in his home office. He’s the heart of the store and loves greeting customers!
Ask for recommendations on Green Lantern and Batman.
Meet Jessica
Chris might be making the sales, but she’s keeping the lights on. And making everyone smile with her infectious laugh.
Jessica loves to read novels, clown about Taylor Swift, and travel. Oh she can also turn anything into a business in about ten minutes.
Ask for recommendations on novels and music.
Meet Sarah
The first employee is always family, right? She’s Jessica’s little sister and the one keeping up with that social media and planning the events.
Is she in her office down the street or in another country? No one really knows. She loves to travel (usually solo), collect crafting projects, and read.
Ask for recommendations on fantasy novels or Indie or Star Wars comics.
Meet Josh
The next person you employ is your friend.
Josh is our Magic: The Gathering expert. He loves a good cup of tea at the perfect temperature, playing trivia, and makes the best rolls any of us have ever had.
Ask for recommendations on the best decks to destroy your opponents in Magic.
Meet Kim
Kim is the little sister, niece, or kid of the store.
She loves musicals, her dogs, and talking about her latest interests. You can also catch her eating the weird candy from Grandpa Joe’s.
Ask for recommendations on X-Men, Squirrel Girl, Zatanna, and Indie stories too.
Meet Tony
Tony is one of the hardest working men in comics.
He works at a comic shop, writes his own comic, and runs a comic book convention! You can catch him on the Crooked Dog Whatnot and at some of the shows with Chris.
Ask for recommendations on Aquaman, Gambit, and small press Indie comics from his fellow creators.
