Welcome to the Dungeons & Dragons One-Shot Adventure!

Your party was hired by a newly established village of druids to help find the source of corruption and sickness that had sprung up in their forest. The leader of this peaceful village is a long time friend and mentor affectionately referred to as Papa G.

You all were able to track the infection and battled your way to it's source, a small rift in the planes. Shadowfell was leaking into the material plane, some nasty creatures along with it. You fought bravely, beating back monsters, while Papa G and some of his followers used their combined magic to close the breach. Suddenly and without warning a shadowy creature snatched Papa G through just as the ritual was being completed. The rift is sealed shut. Your friend is lost, but hope is not. The followers have a way to get you to Shadowfell....
